About Anthony Shaw

Our CEO Anthony Shaw, a native Floridian from Pinellas County, is the driving force behind LifeBuilders Community Development Corporation. Growing up in Largo, attending high school in Dunedin, and serving in the United States Navy, Anthony's journey reflects a deep commitment to his community. After an honorable discharge and earning a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Florida Metropolitan University, Anthony made a conscious decision to dedicate his career to social services, focusing on helping kids in the community.

His experience includes working with children in day care settings, group homes, and residential treatment facilities, providing counseling, mentoring, structure, guidance, and support to youth and adults in substance abuse and mental health communities. Having raised his four children in Pinellas County, Anthony is deeply invested in the Tampa Bay area. His extensive experience in counseling and mentoring positions LifeBuilders Community Development Corporation as a valuable asset to the community, particularly in mentoring kids in foster care.
